Our T&C’s have changed – what does it mean for you?

We in PrePayPower are constantly evolving to ensure that we offer you the best customer service and options available. Part of this is ensuring that our Terms and Conditions are kept up to date and reflect all regulatory, legal and industry requirements. As part of a recent Energy Industry initiative, all Suppliers within the Irish market underwent a review of their Codes of Practise and T&Cs. We decided that to best serve you we would make a few changes to our T&C.

  • We reworded and restructured our T&C to ensure they are easier to read, understand and access.
  • We amalgamated our Electricity & Gas T&Cs into a single document.
  • Our T&C cover domestic and small non-domestic customers.
  • We included information about our cooling off period, security deposit policy and   
  • We updated contact information for both ourselves and the rebranded CRU.
  •  We removed our privacy policy from the T&C and created a stand-alone policy which is to be read and agreed to in conjunction with our T&C.
  • Our new T&Cs were signed off by the CRU on 05.12.2017.

Do the new T&Cs apply to me?

  • If you joined us on or from the 09.02.2018 the new T&C will automatically apply to you.
  • If you joined us before the 09.02.2018 we will issue you with the new T&C as part of your annual statement (either email or in the post depending on how your receive your statement). You are free to contact us when you receive the new T&C with any questions. The new T&C will apply to you from 30 days after receiving them.
